A site visit is most useful when it is planned around the decision rather than the sales sequence.
Before the visit
Carry the floor plan, stated carpet area, current price sheet and a question list. If the project is under construction, know whether you will see the actual tower, a sample flat or a different configuration.
At the location
Test the approach road, peak-hour movement, public transport, noise, drainage and nearby essentials. Note construction around the site.
Inside the unit
Check room dimensions, light, ventilation, storage, service areas, balcony, privacy and furniture movement. Separate show-flat finishes from promised specifications.
Common operations
Ask about lifts, parking, utilities, maintenance, security, fire systems and handover responsibilities. For ready property, observe the actual condition.
After the visit
Write observations before comparing options and request documentary answers to material questions. A visit does not replace legal or technical inspection.
